Since I’m a bit behind in my wine-tasting routing, I sort of cheated. So, here, instead of the Wednesday-ish wine review, is a link to a new page explaining the highly complex and technical Ratings systems the Greater Senses Wine Blog employs.
As I note on that page, these systems are still evolving, largely as there is a need for more terms on a particular scale.
There are also only two scales at present, the overall Rating, which has been there from the start, and the Visual one, which is new. I hope to add another for the physical perception of the wine in the near future, but want to give that some more thought first.
And yes, Friday is really pushing the definition of ‘Wednesday-ish’ I know, but, well, there you go. Will try to get back on schedule this coming week.
